There’s no escaping the rise of Korean entertainment. Korean cinema has risen to international fame in showcasing their multimedia talents and has helped popularised the country overseas.  This year Korean Film Festival in Australia aspires to produce good films that inspire people and help them to understand the aesthetics of Korean Films. Celebrating the 6th year Festival we will showcase the very best of Hallyuwood.

Through this Celebration we want to show to people that there are other individuals out there that shared the same interests no matter which country they came from and we want people to use this event as a medium to share their talents and passion.

This year Film Festival has different categories. The variety of films ranges from blockbusters to art house selections and various genre films (the romantic comedies are especially good) providing audiences with a representative spectrum of what is on offer in Korean cinema. All films are in Korean language with English subtitles.

Train to busan was feature during the festival; this is one of the big hit horror film produce by Korean, directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi and Ma Dong-seok. This movie became the limelight from cinema to online world.
